Apparmor on SLES9 SP3: subdomain-parser does not get installed

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 Pack 3

Situation

After installing the Patch "Optional packages needed for AppArmor i386 12/06/05" via YaST2 Online Update, the package subdomain-parser is not getting installed.

The cause is that by mistake the rpm-package subdomain-parser-common obsoletes subdomain_parser.

Resolution

Download the file subdomain-parser-1.2-40_imnx_suse.i586.rpm from the following URL:
https://support.novell.com/techcenter/psdb/f42d27cbc26baed220048563734ce6f8.html

Install the file by using the command

rpm -Uhv subdomain-parser-1.2-40_imnx_suse.i586.rpm

The issue is reported to engineering and will be fixed by a following update.

Additional Information

This issue is not fixed by the following updates: patch-11424, patch-11787.
