This document (3219436) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES)
Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 Support Pack 3
Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10
Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Support Pack 1

Situation

Private EVMS containers do not fail over or do not come online.

Resolution

This is caused by the EVMS subsystem not starting before the HA Clustering software.

To fix this run:
chkconfig boot.evms on

The EVMS private containers should fail-over correctly.
