This document (000021903) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.
Environment
Google Cloud
Azure Cloud
AWS Cloud
Situation
zypper commands fail with:
Downloaded data exceeded the expected filesize '95 B'
Resolution
As a workaround until a new version of libzypp can be released, include ZYPP_CURL2=1 in the command:
ZYPP_CURL2=1 zypper <COMMAND>
Cause
libzypp-17.37.0 or newer, introduced a new curl-based backend (MediaCurl2) which can handle multiple Content-Length headers when there is HTTP 302 response. This is not activated by default in SLE15.
