RMT server reports missing files in base system repository during updates

Environment
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP5
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP6
RMT Server
Situation
When attempting to update or patch servers using an RMT server, errors occur indicating missing files in the base system repository, even after verifying that the necessary repositories are mirrored. This happens because the RMT server's metadata is out of sync with the actual package files.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, enable the mirroring of delta rpms by editing /etc/rmt.conf and adding mirror_drpm true in the mirroring section:
# /etc/rmt.conf
[...]
mirroring:
mirror_drpm: true
mirror_src: false
verify_rpm_checksums: false
dedup_method: hardlink
After that, restart the rmt-server.service and invoke rmt-cli mirror all.
Cause
The local RMT server's metadata is out of sync with the actual package files due to a change in the default functionality where mirroring of delta rpms is disabled to save bandwidth.
