SUSE Manager Server 4.3 x86_64

Users encounter a delay when accessing SUSE Manager's local help pages in a secured environment without internet access.

In environments with stringent security measures, users accessing SUSE Manager's local help pages without internet access have reported a noticeable delay. This delay is attributed to the reliance on an external stylesheet, "poppins.css," which is referenced in each documentation page.

Download the WebFont files associated with "poppins.css."

Install the downloaded WebFont files in the same directory on the SUSE Manager server where "poppins.css" is located.

Execute the following command to update the HTML files, modifying references to the font directory:
sed --in-place -e 's||/poppins/|' $(find /srv/www/htdocs/docs/en/suse-manager/ -type f -name '*.html')
After implementing these changes, it is advisable to clear your browser cache and perform testing to confirm the resolution.

Open the SUSE Manager documentation in a web browser without internet access.
Verify that the local help pages now load instantly, eliminating the previous few-minute delay.

Customer-facing, the issue originated from a brief delay experienced when attempting to access SUSE Manager's local help pages without internet connectivity.

Additional Information

The fonts used in the external stylesheet ("poppins.css") are licensed under the Open Font License.
