Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP5

Situation

Microsoft Azure Site Recovery (ASR) fails after the system is upgraded from SLE15 SP4 to SLE15 SP5.

Resolution

The current version of Microsoft Azure Site Recovery (ASR) is not yet supported in SLE15 SP5, and so it is not expected to work properly.

Before upgrading to SLES15 SP5, check the ASR support matrix to ensure the ASR version used is supported in the new SLES version, Service Pack and kernel version...

Cause

At the time of writing, Microsoft Azure Site Recovery (ASR) version 9.53 is not supported in SLE15 SP5.
