SUSE Manager 4.x

When running the smdba backup tool, this fails with the following error:
General error:
Gate error: Cannot find database component tablespace on disk

Remove restrictions in the /etc/sudoers file (using visudo) that prevents the root user from using sudo.

The sudoers file was changed to not allow root to use sudo.

Additional Information

To verify if the above is the reason, run "smdba system-check" and / or "smdba db-status" which should then return something like the below output:
smdba system-check
General error:
Gate error: Non zero exit code (1) returned while calling ['sudo', '-u', 'postgres', '/bin/bash']
        cat - << EOF | /usr/bin/psql -t --pset footer=off susemanager
        show all
STDOUT: sudo: sudoers specifies that root is not allowed to sudo
