NVME over Fibre Channel Fabrics as KDUMP Target

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server SLES 12 SP5
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server SLES 15 SP1
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server SLES 15 SP2

Situation

Configuring KDUMP to save Kernel Crash dump into NVME over Fibre Channel Fabrics doesn't work. 

Currently dracut doesn't include support for NVME over Fibre Channel Fabrics.

Resolution

Please use a supported remote dump option or dump to an local storage device.

Reported to Engineering

Additional Information

A feature is currently worked on to add such support for SLES 15 SP3. 

As long as the feature has not been released, kdump to an NVME device provided via Fibre Channel is not supported.
