SUMA 2.1 Fails to Login with Correct Username and Password

SUSE Manager 2.1


After applying latest patches logging in fails with WebUI.  No error messages are generated on screen or in the logs.   If an incorrect username or password is used then the expected messages occur. 


Verify that “Default to SSL” in the SUSE Manager Configuration window is enabled. 

Test by putting https://<URLofSUMAserver> in browser.


If Default to SSL is disabled, then the broswer won't auto-redirect from http to https.
