SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11
Mailman

Situation

Symptoms:
ERROR: "Bug in Mailman version 2.x.x"
ERROR: "We're sorry, we hit a bug" while trying to create a list in Mailman

Change:
Upgraded SLES

Resolution

Launch a terminal session and browse to /var/lib/mailman/archives/
Type chown wwwrun:mailman private
Restart apache by typing rcapache2 restart
