After expanding EVMS container, extra space allocated to volume is inaccessible

2. At the server console, type the following:
evms_activate3. Run the disk check utility against the volume. For example,
e2fsck -p /dev/evms/lvm2/system/var4. Run the resize2fs utility against the volume. For example,
resize2fs /dev/evms/lvm2/system/varBy not specifying a size parameter, the resize2fs utility will resize the volume to use all available allocated space.
Initial attempts to resolve this situation saw the e2fsck and resize2fs utilities run against the container itself. In order for the tools to correctly fix the inconsistency, they have to be run against the volume within the container.
