Bad network performance on DomU when Dom0 uses bnx2x driver

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11

Situation

Network performance from a physical or virtual machine outside of Dom0 to a DomU on Dom0 where Dom0 uses the driver bnx2x is extremely bad.

Resolution

Use

options bnx2x disable_tpa=1

to disable TPA of the network driver on Dom0.
