After updating the glibc timezone information, a third-party java implementation calculates the wrong local time for Europe/Zurich

Use the Java Timezone Updater Tool to bring the java timezone database back in sync with the libc timezone database. For Oracle Java, refer to for instructions.

Java keeps its own timezone database that needs to be in sync with the system timezone database. The timezone maintenance updates provided by SUSE provide the necessary updates for the java implementations that come with the SUSE Linux Enterprise products. Other java implementations may need to have their timzone information updated by other means.
