Resolution

FreeRADIUS is a powerful Remote Access DIal Up Service (RADIUS) package that is used quite extensively for network authentication as well as dial up services.

A fully functional copy is available on SUSE Linux Enterprise Servers 9 and 10, or the Open Enterprise Servers, and this software can be used to extend network security.

Due to being an Open Source software package, documentation is available at the FreeRADIUS website :

Mailing lists, Frequently Asked Questions, and other options are available on the FreeRADIUS website.
