New YaST2 modules for the configuration of DRBD, openAIS, and multipath help you more easily configure distributed storage systems and high availability solutions, and improve productivity.

Incorporated into SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension are additional usability features to help administrators more efficiently and effectively manage their clustered environments. The solution includes a cluster simulator, which administrators can use to test and validate their configuration changes prior to implementing them in production, saving both time and money. Also included is a web-based GUI that facilitates simple administration from any client connected to the Internet. SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension also contains support for configuration synchronization to reduce administrative errors, as well as a YaST load balancer.
