CommandCentral Storage - Managed Host 5.2

The part of CommandCentral Storage that assists the Management Server in discovering all of the resources in the storage network. The managed host is connected to the Management Server and consists of several explorers—such as the GS explorer, the SNMP explorer, and the HBA explorer—that are also used by the Management Server. Although the managed host uses a modified form of the Hardware Abstraction Layer process used in the Management Server, it is not itself a server. Prior to CommandCentral Storage version 5.x, the managed host was known as the Agent.

See CommandCentral Service Agent.
