openFT V12

openFT is Fujitsu's product family of an administered company-wide file transfer solution (Managed File Transfer) and fulfills the most important features of a modern file transfer solution, like openness, automation, security, reliability, availability, monitoring, visibility and performance.

The current release V12.0B is enhanced with some features.
- The security on the basis of the exchange of key files and mechanisms using them is increased. Partner authentication and data encryption is more effective.
- Request tracking over system boundaries are supported by a common identification criterion.
- The logging function is added up by the possibility to change current log file at run time, offline retrieval and automatic deletion of old logging records.
- The basic transport system is connected directly without any need of external access functions.
- FarSync X25 cards of producer FarSite are supported directly in Linux. Connection method XOT is supported in Linux.
- openFT can be run in single user mode.
- Platform Linux for System z is supported.
