TOSCA communicates with the Abaqus Unified FEA product suite by manipulating Finite Element input files-no additional efforts for model generation are necessary. Futhermore, existing FE models can be used directly in the optimization. After definition of the optimization task, TOSCA automatically improves the design in an iterative process.
