Hitachi CSI or Hitachi Storage Plug-in for Containers refers to the CSI plugin and associated components by Hitachi Vantara to integrate Hitachi storage platforms into various Kubernetes distributions and container orchestration environments. The storage platforms include Hitachi VSP, VSP One Block and VSP One SDS in Azure, AWS and GCP public clouds. The CSI enables platform operators to dynamically or statically provision and manage volumes including standard PVs, Replicated PVs and stretched PVs from Hitachi Storage for use by VM pods and container workload.
