Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 0.
The megaraid_sas.ko used during testing is not SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the following driver package: ibm_dd_sraidmr_6.602.03.00-2_sles11_32-64.tgz. This driver package must be downloaded and installed during the SLES install. To obtain the driver go to: http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/systemx/downloadFixes?parent=Lenovo%2BNeXtScale%2Bnx360%2BM5&product=ibm/systemx/5465&&platform=SLES+11+x64&function=fixId&fixids=ibm_dd_sraidmr_6.602.03.00-2_sles11_32-64&includeRequisites=1&includeSupersedes=0&downloadMethod=http.
Maintenance update: SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 Xen maintenance update 9828, kernel update 9751 and grub2 update 9621 are required and were installed during certification testing. Changed Operating Mode in UEFI setup from default "Efficiency - Favor Performance" to "Custom".
Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=4G dom0_max_vcpus=4.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
