Product Description
The SimplyNUC EE-2000 brings powerful processing to the extreme edge, enabling remote system monitoring and management via the built-in NANO-BMC (Baseboard Management Controller). This fanless, headless enclosure offers scalability with dense memory and storage.

Config Notes

Kdump (SLE12SP3): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=173M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: JBOD. System was scaled up to 8-sockets by joining four x880 X6 with 8S scalability connector.
Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports (each node also has an internal USB port).
