Config Notes
- Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
- The driver "htc-hfcldd" are used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.21.4310.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.21.4310_4.4.73_7-1.sles12sp3.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, access to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347564.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
- The driver "be2net" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the following driver package "elx-be2net-dd-sles12-11.4.1186.0-1.tar.gz". This driver kit can be downloaded and installed after the SLES install. To obtain the driver go to: https://docs.broadcom.com/docs/12379614.
- This is a SAN boot only system.
- The Hitachi SAS 3004 iMR ROMB and local HDD (hard disk drives) are not supported on this configuration.
