Config Notes

Emulex Corporation OneConnect (XE100 series) Ethernet driver used during testing is not SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the following driver package: elx-be2net-dd-sles11-10.0.800.0-1.tar.gz. This driver package can be downloaded and installed after the SLES install. To obtain the driver go to: http://www.emulex.com/downloads/emulex/drivers/linux/sles-11/drivers/
This is a SAN boot only system.
The driver "htc-hfcldd" are used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.11.17.2166.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.11.17.2166_3.0.76_0.11-1.sles11sp3.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, access http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346027.html . DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation. To install SLES to the SAN storage, refer to the document "Hitachi Gigabit Fibre Channel Adapter Users Guide(SUSE Linux Enterprise Server driver Edition)" on http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346027.html
Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
