Config Notes
- This is a SAN boot only system.
- Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
- The driver "htc-hfcldd" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.20.4110.iso" and the driver package htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.20.4110_3.12.49_11-1.sles12sp1.x86_64.rpm. To obtain the DUD and the driver package, go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347004.html. The DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
- The maximum CPU cores or threads, when hyper threading is enabled, that can be allocated from LPAR is 240.
