Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Drive Configuration: RAID 0. Manually created UEFI boot entry. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=8G dom0_max_vcpus=4.
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=174M,high crashkernel=122M,low" using YaST.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe).
PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to the SLES 12 SP2 FV guest. The embedded Emulex Corporation Integrated BE3 controller dual-port Gigabit Ethernet adapter was used during this testing.
