Config Notes

Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The driver "htc-hfcldd" are used during testing is not SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. To force loading the driver, set allow_unsupported_modules to 1 in /etc/modprobe.d/unsupported-modules. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.11.17.2164.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.11.17.2164_3.0.76_0.11-1.sles11sp3.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, access to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346027.html . DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation. To install SLES to the SAN storage, refer to the document "Hitachi Gigabit Fibre Channel Adapter Users Guide(SUSE Linux Enterprise Server driver Edition)" on http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346027.html
This is a SAN boot only system.
