Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Tested as a 1-node scalable partition with 4 Compute Books. Hard disk configuration: single RAID 0 device.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the one of the SLES 12 guests. One of the Intel X540 ML2 Dual Port 10GbaseT adapters was used in this testing.
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=221M,high crashkernel=182M,low" using YaST.
