Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD JBOD and M.2 boot device with two SSDs configured as a RAID 0 device. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with and requires the following additional load parameters: dom0_mem=8G dom0_max_vcpus=8.
Kdump (SLE15): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=246M,high crashkernel=132M,low using YaST.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.5.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 15 FV guest. One of the Lenovo ThinkSystem X710-DA2 PCIe 10Gb SFP+ adapters was used in this testing.
