Config Notes
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were changed based on the content in the following knowledge-base article for ppc64le: https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=3374462
- Power management: The System/Processor dynamic CPU frequency scaling functionality in SLES is not supported on POWER10 (PowerVM) as this functionality is provided by the POWER10 hardware itself.
- Headless configuration - no graphics adapter. System configured using IBM remote Hardware Management Console (HMC) for graphics, keyboard and mouse.
- Install: The SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server install was performed using a network install method.
- CPU: This system is a 4 node configuration with 4 sockets per node, totaling 16 CPU sockets. The POWER10 4.0 GHz CPUs tested each have 15 cores and SMT 8. Totaling for the system 240 cores and 1920 threads.
