Product Description
FUJITSU Server PRIMEQUEST 3800E2 is the prime system for economic mission-critical computing. It unifies the economic and flexibility benefits of x86 industry standard systems with mission- critical uptime features. Customers running SAP, financial institutions or big data applications will thus continuously benefit from a radically optimized cost effectiveness compared to UNIX/ Mainfram-based enterprise platforms, while preserving all the RAS qualities so that the system always remains active. Config Notes

Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports.
Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: JBOD. System was scaled up to 8-socket by joining four x880 X6 with 8S scalability connector.
Kdump (SLE12SP2): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=163M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
SR-IOV/PCI Pass-through: Current system configuration does not support network SR-IOV or network PCI pass-through.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
