Config Notes
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 12 FV guest. One of the integrated Ethernet Connection X722 for 1GbE adapters was used in this testing.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe).
- Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with and requires the following additional load parameters: dom0_mem=8G dom0_max_vcpus=4 (the parameters are required, the specific values can be changed).
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD two disks configured as RAID 0 and M.2 boot device with two SSDs configured as a RAID 1 device.
