Up to 10 extension slots and up to 32x 2.5-inch hard disks enable excellent expandability options. Thanks to a redundant power supply and fans as well as a range of different RAID controllers the Rack Server ensures top availability levels and “peace of mind”. The server is thus ideal for performance hungry applications, virtualization solutions and storage demanding scenarios. KVM Guest: The following updated virtio_net drivers were used and are required on the KVM SLE11SP1 guests: novell-virtio_net-kmp-pae-1.0_2.6.32.12_0.7-0.i586.rpm and novell-virtio_net-kmp-default-1.0_2.6.32.12_0.7-0.x86_64.rpm. The drivers can be downloaded and installed after the SLES KVM Guest install. The drivers are PLDP compliant and available at: http://drivers.suse.com/novell/kvm-guest-kernel-fix/sle11sp1/install/suse/{ARCH}
Install: PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network.
KVM Guest: The SLE10SP3 guest was configured with virtual e1000 NICs.
