Product Description
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY TX1330 M4 is an
advanced technology, highly expandable and
robust mono-socket server versatile enough for
use across multiple industries plus classic small
and medium-sized enterprise requirements. It
features the latest in processing and memory
for appropriately sized workloads such as file/

applications plus use cases with high storage
requirement such as centralized storage and
databases. The mono-socket tower system features
the latest powerful Intel® Xeon® E-2100 product
family processors with up to 64 GB DDR4 memory
at 2,666 MT/s, to boost application performance.
The server is designed for high levels of secure
expandability with up to 24x 2.5-inch hot-plug
storage devices. Up to 4 PCIe slots are available to add
both RAID cards and other option.
The compact server housing and extremely low

Config Notes
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were changed based on the content in the following knowledge-base article: https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=3374462
SLES15 data is being updated in the same document and at current SLES 12 SP3 crashkernel values works fine.
- Power management: The System/Processor dynamic CPU frequency scaling functionality in SLES is not supported on POWER9 (PowerVM) as this functionality is provided by the POWER9 hardware itself.
- Headless configuration - no graphics adapter. System configured using IBM remote Hardware Management Console (HMC) for graphics, keyboard and mouse.
- Install: The SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server install was performed using a network install method.
