General purpose serial port functionality is not provided by the hardware. Therefore the serial port is supported only for accessing the ILOM and the serial port certification test has been waived.
PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network
The LAN driver used during testing was installed from the following rpm: intel-e1000e-0.4.1.6-1.x86_64.rpm and intel-e1000e-kmp-smp-0.4.1.6_2.6.16.60_0.21-1.x86_64.rpm. This driver can be downloaded and installed after the SLED install. To obtain the driver go to: http://forgeftp.novell.com/driver-process/pub/update/Intel/sle10sp2/ptf/common/x86_64/
