Config Notes

The Hitachi SAS 3004 iMR ROMB and local HDD (hard disk drives) are not supported on this configuration.
Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The driver "hfcldd.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk (DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.22.4340.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.22.4340_4.12.14_94.41-1.sles12sp4.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347862.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
The driver "ixgbe.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver ixgbe used for Intel(R) 10GbE PCI Express Family of Server Adapters is named "ixgbe-kmp-default-5.6.1_k4.12.14_94.41-h1a.x86_64.rpm". This driver package can be downloaded and installed after the SLES12 SP4 install. To obtain the driver go to https://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347856.html.
This is a SAN boot only system.
