Product Description
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY RX2540 M4 is a rack server that provides high performance, expandability and energy efficiency in a 1U space saving housing. The PRIMERGY RX2540 M4 is ideal for virtualization, scale-out scenarios, and small databases as well as for high performance computing thanks to the high performance of the new Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family CPUs with up to 28 cores and the latest DDR4 memory technology. The limited space of a 1U chassis offers highly efficient power supply units, their redundancy on demand and the optional Cool-safe® Advanced Thermal Design this will result in lower operational costs. Config Notes

Install: System installed using an external USB DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and elilo system configur
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameter in the elilo.conf file was changed from 128 to 256 (crashkernel=512M-:256M) for kdump to function correctly.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe); using the virtio driver during certification.
