Product Description
The System x® iDataPlex® dx360 M4 compute node is designed to optimize density and performance within typical data center infrastructure limits. The unique half-depth form factor is designed to help you improve compute disity in your space-constrained date center while also improving system cooling and energy efficiency. With more computing power per watt and the latest Intel Xeon processors including the new Intel Xeon E5-2600, you can reduce costs while maintaining speed and availability.

Config Notes

PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to the SLES 12 FV guests. The add-on 82572EI Gigabit Ethernet Controller adapter was used in this testing.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 and SLES 12 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 5.
