Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: JBOD
- Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports.
- System was scaled up to 8-sockets by joining four x880 X6 with 8S scalability connector.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
- UEFI Configuration: The Processor State (p-state) setting in UEFI was changed from the default Enabled to Disabled. ( F1 Setup --> System Settings --> Processors )
- SR-IOV/PCI Pass-through: Current system configuration does not support network SR-IOV or network PCI Pass-through.
