Config Notes
- Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports. The system also has one internal USB port.
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: single disk JBOD.
- Kdump (SLE15): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=273M,high crashkernel=162M,low using YaST.
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 15 FV guest. One of the integrated CN4052 10Gb Virtual Fabric adapters was used in this testing.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.5.exe).
