Config Notes

Steps to install the "Sun Dual 10GbE SFP+ PCIe Express Module" 1a) set allow_unsupported_modules to "1" in /etc/modprobe.d/unsupported-modules 1b) Install ixgbe-2.0.44.14-1.sles11.x86_64.rpm. 1c) adding nox2apic in boot command line. 1d) add the following into /etc/modprobes.conf.local options ixgbe InterruptType:1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1
Install: PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network.
The ixgbe driver used during certification testing is included on the SUN Tools CD. This ixgbe driver is not PLDP compliant and is NOT supported by Novell.
