Up to 10 extension slots and up to 32x 2.5-inch hard disks enable excellent expandability options. Thanks to a redundant power supply and fans as well as a range of different RAID controllers the Rack Server ensures top availability levels and “peace of mind”. The server is thus ideal for performance hungry applications, virtualization solutions and storage demanding scenarios. Config Notes

Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were changed based on the content in the following knowledge-base article: https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=3374462 SLES15 data is being updated in the same document and at current SLES 12 SP3 crashkernel values works fine.
Power management: The System/Processor dynamic CPU frequency scaling functionality in SLES is not supported on POWER9 (PowerVM) as this functionality is provided by the POWER9 hardware itself.
Headless configuration - no graphics adapter. System configured using IBM remote Hardware Management Console (HMC) for graphics, keyboard and mouse.
Install: The SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server install was performed using a network install method.
