Product Description
The System x iDataPlex dx360 M4 compute node is designed to optimize density and performance within typical data center infrastructure limits. The unique half-depth form factor is designed to help you improve compute density in your space-constrained data center while also improving system cooling and energy efficiency. With more computing power per watt and Intel Xeon processors, you can reduce costs while maintaining speed and availability.

Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 0.
Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=4G dom0_max_vcpus=4.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 and SLES 12 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to the SLES 12 FV guest. One of the integrated Broadcom BCM5717 Gigabit Ethernet adapters was used during this testing.
