Product Description
The Lenovo Flex System X6 Compute Node, machine type 7196, is a high-performance scalable compute node that is designed to take on the most demanding workloads. Config Notes
- Install: System installed using PXE network install; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: two hard disks drives configured as RAID1 and two ThinkSystem M.2 (boot) drives configured as a RAID 0 device.
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 12 guest. One of the Intel Ethernet Connection X722 for 1GbE adapters was used in this testing.
