Product Description
This blade is a general computing node based on Intel CPU's and just half width of the cabinet. It provides large computing capability and can be flexibly expanded. It is optimally designed for high-denesity computing and has a large memory capacity for the virtualization, cloud computing, HPC, and a businesses of compute-intensive enterprise.

Config Notes
- This is a SAN boot only system.
- Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
- The driver "htc-hfcldd" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.18.3146.iso" and the driver package htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.18.3146_3.12.28_4-1.sles12.x86_64.rpm. To obtain DUD and the driver package, access to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346613.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
- The driver "ixgbevf" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver ixgbe is used with the Intel Ethernet Server Adapter X520-2 and the driver package name is "intel-ixgbevf-2.16.4-2.1.x86_64.rpm" and "intel-ixgbevf-kmp-default-2.16.4_k3.12.28_4-2.1.x86_64.rpm". This driver package can be downloaded and installed after the SLES12 install. To obtain the driver go to: http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346835.html
- The maximum CPU cores or threads when hyper threading is enabled which can be allocated from LPAR is 240.
