Product Description
The M2814 cartridge can enable ultra-dense virtual deployments, as well as cloud infrastructure applications. Benefit from a high memory-to-core ratio and applications that use a large, Layer 2 CPU cache such as dynamic web content delivery and small in-memory databases. The M2814 is a dual-socket server using Intel® Xeon® E5 2600 v3 CPUs, with up to 256 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz memory. The M2814 Compute Cartridge is part of a growing line of compute options for the Cisco UCS M4308 Modular Chassis. With the new M2814 and Cisco UCS M4308 Modular Chassis, Cisco brings high core counts and memory expansion to a high-density, low-power, scale-out deployment model. Config Notes

Install: SLES OS installation was performed by using a virtual DVD device.
The driver "i40e" that was used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from "intel-i40e-2.1.26-20.1.x86_64.rpm" and "intel-i40e-kmp-default-2.1.26_k4.4.21_69-20.1.x86_64.rpm". To obtain the driver package, access to https://sso.hds.com and click on "Support Connect", then select "Product Downloads". RPM can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
The driver "megaraid_sas" that was used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from "lsi-megaraid_sas-kmp-default-07.704.04.00_k4.4.21_69-6.1.x86_64.rpm". To obtain the driver package, access to https://sso.hds.com and click on "Support Connect", then select "Product Downloads". RPM can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation
All ports of Intel XXV710-DA2 Ethernet Network Adapters were tested at 25Gb/s speed.
