Product Description
The Lenovo BladeCenter HS22 is a two-socket blade server running Intel Xeon processors. It is ideal for mainstream business applications including as a virtualization engine, and is compatible with the BladeCenter H, E, S, and HT chassis. The HS22 supports up to two Intel Xeon 5600 multi-core processors, 12 DIMMs modules, two hot-swap drives, two PCI Express connectors, and one internal USB connector for embedded virtualization.

Config Notes

Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The driver "htc-hfcldd" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.11.17.2166.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.11.17.2166_3.0.76_0.11-1.sles11sp3.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package goto http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346027.html . DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation. To install SLES to the SAN storage, refer to the document "Hitachi Gigabit Fibre Channel Adapter Users Guide(SUSE Linux Enterprise Server driver Edition)" on http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346027.html
This is a SAN boot only system.
The maximum CPU cores which can be allocated from LPAR is 64.
