Product Description
The PRIMERGY CX2570 M1 is a compact server
node enabling high computing density with two
independent servers in 2U. It is ideal for ambitious
high performance computing, analytics and
visualization solutions. Two server nodes can be
embedded in the PRIMERGY CX400 M1 enclosure,
only using 2U height in conventional standard
datacenter racks. The PRIMERGY CX2570 M1
combines high-end computational and graphics
performance with high energy efficiency. Each
half-wide server node with Intel® Xeon® processor
E5-2600 v3 product CPUs and 16 DDR4
memory DIMMs, features up to two optional
NVIDIA® GPGPU or Intel® Xeon Phi™ co-processor
cards, enabling a performance boost in supported
applications.

Config Notes
- The driver "htc-hfcldd" are used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.18.3146.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.18.3146_3.12.28_4-1.sles12.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, access to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346613.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
- Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
- This is SAN boot only system.
- The maximum CPU cores or threads when hyper threading is enabled which can be allocated from LPAR is 88.
