Config Notes

This is a SAN boot only system.
"Hard Disk Drive" and "Logic / Symbios Logic RAID bus controllers" are not supported on this configuration.
Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The driver "htc-hfcldd" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.18.3146.iso" and the driver package htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.18.3146_3.12.28_4-1.sles12.x86_64.rpm. To obtain DUD and the driver package, access to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12346613.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
The driver "ixgbe" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver ixgbe use Intel(R) 10GbE PCI Express Family of Server Adapters and the driver package name is "ixgbe-kmp-default-4.1.2_k3.12.28_4-h1.x86_64.rpm".
