UCS B440 M2, http://www.cisco.com/ . The Cisco UCS B440 M2 High-Performance Blade Server extends the Cisco Unified Computing System by offering new levels of performance, scalability, and reliability. The 4-socket Cisco UCS B440 M2 Blade Server platform uses the Intel Xeon processor E7-4800 product family.

Config Notes

Kdump (SLE12SP3): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=172M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
Install: System installed using PXE network install; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD single disk RAID 0 and M.2 boot device two disk RAID 1. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with and requires the following additional load parameters: dom0_mem=8G dom0_max_vcpus=4 (parameter values can be changed).
SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 12 SP3 FV guest. One of the integrated Ethernet Connection X722 for 1GbE adapters was used in this testing.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe).
