The PRIMERGY TX1330 M1 is the ideal robust and cost-efficient server for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) or branch offices. It offers best Intel® Xeon® E3 family performance and solid expandability thanks to hot-plug storage drives. The optionally redundant power supply ensures high availability and peace of mind. Thanks to its compact housing and extremely low operating noise the server is ideally suited for showrooms or offices, for example under the desk. The support of legacy PCI adapter cards makes the PRIMERGY TX1330 M1 optimally suited for special solutions, such as telephone or security systems. Furthermore, the comprehensive Fujitsu ServerView® Suite provides support for administrators during server installation, deployment and administration. Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Drive Configuration: RAID 1 and a RAID 5. System was configured as 2-node scalable partition. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=16G dom0_max_vcpus=10. Desktop GUI was removed (init 3) during overnight stress testing.
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=227M,high crashkernel=152M,low" using YaST.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.3.exe).
PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to the FV SLES 12 guest. The Intel® PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server adapter was used for this testing.
